Anyone that would like to tag-along one of these Mondays, just let me know.

An absolutely beautiful piece of writing, JP. You done The Buk proud.

(BTW, do they only read poems at the Monday night shindig, or can a piece of prose be read?  Wink)

Thanks, Lisa. If you can believe it, that piece took a bit out of me to get right.

I'm sure if it's a shorter piece of fiction, it'd be fine. It's done in under an hour, so everyone's got only a few minutes, depending on how many people show up.

You wouldn't be interested in making the trek, now, would you? I'm likely going this Monday again...

I'd like to, if I'm not just impossibly exhausted by 6 p.m. on Monday...

What time do you leave to head over there?

Last week I got there at 5:00 to get the lay of the land. I think it starts at 6:00. I'm texting Mike to make sure. Keep me posted if you're up for it. I can drive, and it's only about an hour if you're only staying for the Bukowski. I believe Bill Nelson will be there this week, too.

Any other Dark Dwellers want to come out?

I went again this week. They don't do fiction: just poems. It was a bigger crowd this time. Just as wild.

This coming Monday is the last of the weekly version. It's going to switch to a monthly thing after. If anyone wants to make it down this coming Monday, I'll be there. Beers are cheap and you get to practice reading out loud.
